Both Moses and Sheba have been with us since they were puppies. Moses was born in Erie north of Denver and Sheba was born just outside Pueblo in southern Colorado. They are both world travelers with quite a few frequent flyer miles. They moved to Chile with us in 1994 and returned with us in 1997. Alvaro says they are bilingual: they bark in both English and Spanish.

Moses is now 13 years old. He walks slowly and likes to sleep a lot. Here he is in his favorite spot: on our bed! He loves a scratch behind the ears or just to sit next to you with his head on your lap. He bonded in a special way with Alvaro's mother Ivette who is convinced that are both equally old and tired! They both walk about the same speed - really slow. |

Sheba. Life is Good! Picture taken by Juanita Gana. Sheba is 12 years old but is still as lively as ever in spite of a bad back (spinal arthritis). She likes to sleep under Kristin's desk and chew on rawhide bones. It does not take much convincing to get her to roll over for a tummy scratch. |
