Work day in Scalloway

We spent the day working in Percy's mobile office. We also dodged rain showers while moving the tent to a more sheltered pitch at the campsite. Our hosts, Janet and Alan, are so helpful and nice. We lucked out choosing this campsite over the others!

There was time for potato and leek soup with rolls for lunch. Yogi was very jealous...

We also managed to get a load of laundry done and tumble-dried today. That also meant timing our run to the laundry room between rain showers. One of the runs we timed particularly badly because we got hit by peppercorn-sized hail! Doesn't look like much on the ground, but it did hurt and quite a lot got stuck in Rob's hair and it was difficult to get it all out again. Tee-hee!

We did some more work in the afternoon, and then we had a video meeting with our real estate lawyer in Ottawa. Today was the day when we signed the documents for the sale of our condo. The actual closing date is 2nd of June. That is when we will celebrate.

The day ended with battery-driven movie night in the tent. More episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer!
